Misty times attend our year
with haze spread about.
We gaze upon the sky with fear,
as our minds went south.
Of days to come in tears,
ne’er have we seen such a year.
And nights of woes to bear,
in our daily strive with fear.
In a decade we saw rising stars,
came the scourge, pain and scars.
An age of science and inventions
plummeted into an age in detention.
A gladsome year went into exile,
as we unwillingly altered our profile.
Unclarities swell like River Nile,
with our fears hidden in a smile.
Each day unveils a new evil
without the consent of the Devil.
But at the apex of immense fogginess,
then comes the penetrating rays of brightness.
